From Waterloo Brewing Co,

A summer specialty Saison brew with refreshing citrus and floral notes whose recipe and packaging pay tribute to Northern Ontario’s lush evergreen forests.

Appearance | Pale yellow with a foamy head that quickly disappears.

Smell | Spices, fruits, honey, smokiness, yeast, and lemon.

Taste | Spices, fruits, malts, yeast, lemon, smokiness, and citrus.

Aftertaste | Dry finish with lingering notes of spices and citrus.

Overall | Jack Pine Belgian Ale is a light-bodied brew that’s pretty refreshing at first sip. It’s full of spices and fruits with a hint of smokiness.  It’s a very dry brew, similar to a cider.   For those who enjoy Belgian-style brews will enjoy this light brew.

Waterloo’s Summer Small Batch Brews are available for a limited time this summer at select LCBO and Beer Store locations across Ontario in 6x473mL packs for $13.50.
