History

Lieutenant General John Graves Simcoe is legendary for his trailblazing in to Upper Canada. As a result of this he has had both a town and a lake named after him. That’s nothin’, now he’s got a beer!

Tank Ten Series

Stemming from our Project X line, Tank Ten is a tickle trunk of tasty treats. This series is payback to our hard working brewers. We’ve reserved fermenting Tank Number 10 for them and have given them the green light to brew whatever the heck they want. Bottom’s Up!

Appearance | Golden autumn brown, burnt orange, slightly cloudy. Egg-white head is bold with staying power and collapses moderately.

Smell | Brave aromas of citrus, grapefruit, and pine, with slight notes of toffee and spice.

Taste | Heaps of hops. Bold notes of citrus, grapefruit, and pine. Slightly floral with a hint of orange.

Aftertaste | Medium length finish. Culminates with whispers of citrus, and spicy caramel.

Overall | This “Tank Ten” brew has a slightly unbalanced IPA flare, with a pungent Canadian hops flavour. This beer was thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys higher Pale Ales with advanced IBU levels. A great addition to any craft beer lover’s fridge.

This brew would pair well  with oily, salty, or fried foods. It could also be paired with rich smokey barbecue flavours. The intense bitterness of the hops is sure to cut through any greasy and rich flavoured fare.
